History
United Pacific Engineering has been born by a number of previous engineering companies that were established in Coffs Harbour over 50 years ago. The manufacturing company originally founded as ‘Isles Forge’. The company manufactured a wide range of process equipment and machinery servicing the timber, mining and earthmoving markets domestically and internationally. The facilities then became the Australian headquarters for ‘Nicholson’ Manufacturing; a US based company, producing processing equipment for a worldwide client base focused on the timber harvesting and processing industry. Nicholson Manufacturing sold the rights & patents to United Pacific Engineering in 2009. The business continues to provide engineering services to the same industry groups. The company moved premises in 2020 to the old WE Smith Engineering building located at Hamilton Drive Boambee. The move into these premises has greatly expanded the company’s capability to provide a greater range of engineering services.
